      📄 Is it possible to change the name of the file generated by ChiliDocs®?

      Yes – both template files and generated documents can be customized.

      ✅ Template files

      • For your Word templates stored in the ChiliDocs® folder in the HubSpot File Manager, you can use any filename you like.

       

      ✅ Generated documents

      • Documents created with ChiliDocs® will by default use the name of the template.

      • If you want to change the filename afterwards, you can simply rename the file in Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) as usual.

       

      💡 Note:

      Automatic naming of generated documents using placeholders is also possible (e.g., [deal.name]-proposal.docx).
